Day 1:

  • 8:00 am: Departure from El Coca by motorized canoe to Pañacocha on the Napo River, a major tributary of the Amazon River.

  • Lunch break during the journey.

  • Travel to the Pañayacu River junction and head upriver to reach Pañacocha.

  • Along the way, observe various bird species and monkeys.

  • Arrive at the lodge  around 5:00 pm (17:00).

  • Settle into your cabins

  • Evening: Night walk to observe nocturnal species and enjoy dinner while listening to the jungle's nighttime sounds.

Day 2:

  • 7:30 am: Breakfast.

  • Morning jungle walk to observe diurnal mammals, birds, reptiles, and unique plant species.

  • Return to camp by 1:00 pm (13:00) for lunch.

  • Afternoon: Prepare to swimming in Pañacocha lagoon, followed by exploration of surrounding lagoons for wildlife.

  • Evening: Boat trip on the Pañayacu River at 7:00 pm (19:00) to spot caiman.

Day 3:

  • Early morning visit to Pigualicocha to witness the sunrise and observe morning birds by the lagoon and also Fishing for piranha.

  • Return to camp for breakfast at 8:30 am

  • Departure for Coca with a lunch stop on the way.

  • Arrival in Coca and conclusion of the adventure around 04:00 pm (16:00).
