Day 1: Cultural Exploration
Arrival in Coca from Quito or the city of origin.
Purchase of necessary supplies for our stay.
Arrival at the house around 12 am or a little later.
Lunch, initial conversations, and questions.
In the afternoon, settle into rooms, tents, or hammocks based on preferences. Visit the traditional Waorani house for a demonstration of ancestral weapons, fighting techniques, and the use of traditional tools.
In the evening, by the fire, learn about Waorani culture, their way of life, the history of oil companies, and cultural changes.
Dinner and free time.
Day 2: Immersion in the Jungle
Morning: Forest walk with natural Achiote paint as a symbol of Waorani protection. Explanation of plants, hunting techniques, healing practices, and the extraction of natural shampoo from plants.
Lunch with typical Ecuadorian food.
Afternoon: Survival tips, tree climbing techniques, and body or face painting.
Dinner and free time.
Day 3: Deep Jungle Adventure
7:30 am: Excursion to a waterfall deep in the jungle. A vehicle will take us, and in about half an hour, we'll reach the starting point.
A one-hour walk to the campsite, observing animals and plants along the way.
Collect water, set up tents, and start a fire.
Bath in the waterfall.
Lunch.
Explanation of local beliefs, presentation of the cabin and the project, followed by a jungle exploration, including a visit to the ceibo, the largest tree in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
15h00 Return to the city of El Coca - End of the Tour
